By Virginia Woolf
Adapted by Marina Carr
Directed by Annabelle Comyn
But what have I done with my life? Only this? An infinitely long table, plates, knives. And at the far end, you, my husband, sitting in a heap. Frowning.
Mr and Mrs Ramsay share summer days with children and friends in their holiday home by the sea. The children play, Mr Carmichael reclines with handkerchief over his face, Tansley parades his principles, Lily tries to paint her picture and 10 year old James wants to go to the Lighthouse. Life is sweet. But will the weather be fine? A storm is forecast.
Darkness. Time passes. War.
And the Ramsay lives are changed forever.....
