A music theatre performance based on a live recording of actors warming up before the opening night of a show.

Set in a warm up space, four performers prepare their voices night after night. We hear their dreams through vocal virtuosity displayed in their pre-show rituals. At the heart of the piece is a physical quest for one’s voice. Witness them at their most vulnerable moments – before they go on.

The Warm Up is the second in a series of compositions for theatre by award winning composer Jane Deasy (Opening Night – Best Design, Dublin Fringe 2022 and Cork Midsummer Festival 2025). The piece is performed by some of Ireland's most prominent vocalists and performers of experimental and contemporary music; Michelle O' Rourke, Elizabeth Hilliard, Robbie Blake, and Tom Roseingrave, with an electronic score performed by Jane Deasy.
