An immersive and interactive sound installation for our youngest ears. Inviting children into a world filled with living recorded sounds of nature.

A multi-sensory experience for early years children, rooted in sound and listening. This world contains some of the most beautiful natural sounds from ecosystems near and far, which have been composed into an immersive and interactive environment for children to explore.

Featuring a range of safe and natural objects that become musical instruments, …where sounds grow… encourages interaction and play to evolve organically. The tone of this space is soft, calm and is suitable for every child to engage with in their own way.

We welcome you to …where sounds grow… where there is time and space to listen to our world.

Natural Creators is a Music/Sound Program that harnesses natural creative exploration in our youngest ears. Developed by Irish composer Karen Power, the Natural Creators aesthetic creates a holistic learning and development environment through guided multi-sensory activities, improvisation and non-bias exploration, which are all guided through the act of listening.

Karen Power is an internationally renowned composer/sonic artist who specialises in listening, recording and integrating environmental sounds into a range of artistic settings.

Funded by Arts Council Children and Young People’s Arts Residency in Early Years at UCC.
