Join the marvellous makers and performers as they create Midsummer madness, chaos and mirth in Cork’s city centre.

Out of the Shenanigan Family’s Imaginarium comes a unique celebration of the creativity and passion of local communities.

Cork Community Art Link presents a rambunctious parade on the opening weekend of Cork Midsummer Festival. Watch as Community groups and organisations including Corlann Blackpool, Cork Simon, National Learning Network, L’Arche Cork, Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance and many more, bring energy, passion and creativity to the streets of the city. Three months of collaboration and more than 70 workshops dedicated to creative exploration, will culminate in a joyous explosion of colour, music and performance.

Catch a glimpse of ingeniously engineered floats, stunning costumes and other wondrous contraptions that need to be seen to be believed.

If you want to get involved you’re welcome to join our volunteer workshops on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2pm–5pm, or our costume workshops on Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm at The Lido, 71 Watercourse Road.
