Housed in a shipping container La Cocina Pública is a mobile kitchen that brings people together through theatre, food and dining.

Travelling from Chile through cities and neighbourhoods in search of local recipes, aromas, practices and customs, Teatro Container will work with Cork’s South Parish residents to share stories and food that will be enjoyed at delicious collective dining events – with Chilean and Cork artists, storytellers, singers and musicians providing you with memories and entertainment.

Live in the South Parish area of Cork city? Join us in sharing recipes and stories, making bunting and decorations or cooking and hosting for the dining events, please email kath@corkmidsummer.com or pop into Cork Flower Studio, 104 Douglas Street, Cork to add your name to the sign-up sheet. Click here for further information on how you can be involved!
