This Sunday in the Sunshine there will be lots going on in Fitzgerald’s Park for the Annual Picnic In The Park event!

On the Stage we will have Prodijig and Moxie with the Jig In The Park so get your dancing shoes on to dance around the Maypole and let’s try to break the record!, Followed on the Main Stage by The Shandon Ukulele Band, The Army Band and culminating with the biggest sing song of the summer with the amazing High Hope’s Choir.

There will be a huge amount of activities for all of the family with interactive workshops brought to you by Dowtcha with their Puppet making workshops, Clayotic clay making, Cork Photo’s Jelly Plate Printing, Circus Skills with Clowns Without Borders and you can even learn how to play the Ukulele with the Shandon Ukulele Group!

Throughout the day we will have nature walking tours with Darragh Murphy and Ronan Leonard’s Digital Scavenger Hunt.
Circus Outside the box will be performing throughout the day and you might see some of Dowtcha Puppets Seagulls  flying around the place.

Cork Community Art Link are performing ‘Life In The Boot’ from their giant Boot which will be in the park for the day.
We will also have Donnacha Cahill’s larger than life Gramophone which plays music, and you can also link up to it with your smart phone and play your own tunes!

We’ll also have the Cow-Go-Round! Children climb on some very unusual cows while their parents are milking a life-size cow, giving out the power necessary to make the carousel rotate.

Jenny from Red Balloon is busy blowing up hundreds of balloons for her installations and a few surprises along the way, and we'll have the usual fantastic food offering from the best street food in Cork at our market so you won’t go hungry!

All happening this Sunday, June 18th from 11.30am-4.30pm in Fitzgerald's Park - see you there!
