Be Part Sharing
Suisha Arts with Jody O’Neill & Al Bellamy
A vibrant mix of dance-theatre and circus from critically acclaimed hip hop collective Far From The Norm and a selection of Europe and Ireland’s best hip hop dancers and circus artists.
With a breathtaking combination of the dancers’ fast-paced footwork and physical routines, alongside the strength and skill in Chinese pole and tight-wire of the circus artists, the show channels one of the globe’s favourite sports – football – to tackle questions about Europe both before and after Brexit. This athletic, energising and funny show, complete with a pumping soundtrack, was been created especially for Cork Midsummer Festival.
Produced by Crying Out Loud (UK), Le Plus Petit Cirque Du Monde (France), Subtopia (Sweden), Cork Midsummer Festival (Ireland) as part of Circus 250: Diverse • Real • Physical and in association with Far From The Norm.
Co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union This production could not be possible without the generous financial support of the Arts Council, UCC Creative (an initiative of University College Cork), Institut Français, The British Council and Cork City Council Arts Office.
