Get ready for an electrifying day of music, creativity and summer vibes at YouthQuake take-over of Fitzgerald’s Park.

It’s a fresh, high-energy creative celebration featuring new music, DJs and live performances from youth across the city. From original tracks to spoken word performances, this event brings together emerging artists in a powerful showcase of inter-community collaboration.

Curated by Midsummer Youth Assembly, YouthQuake bursts with creativity, unity, and joy. Drop-in to our art, writing and music workshops, to find your creative spark. Our young leaders have designed a colourful, inclusive youth event that celebrates belonging, gathering and the expression of our generation. A sensation of delicious street food, diverse culture, games and summer spraoi.

YouthQuake is all about community – because that’s the energy we’re bringing.

A collaboration with LCYP and local community, including creative workshops with Crawford Art Gallery, The Glucksman, and MTU Creativity & Change. Look forward to energetic performances from Sauti Studios, Cork Migrant Centre Youth, YMCA Ireland, Music Generation CC, The Kabin Studio and lots of other youth performers with surprise special guests.

Creative Parks is an annual partnership between Cork City Council’s Culture and Creativity Team and Cork Midsummer Festival, collaborating with artists and communities to develop an all- ages creative day within a city park. Supported by Cork City Council, through the Creative Ireland Programme, an all-of-government initiative which places creativity at the centre of public policy.
