  • Music

A moving, riotous celebration of character, music, and storytelling.

Featuring unforgettable voices from the plays of Deirdre Kinahan and live music from legendary fiddler Steve Wickham.

Deirdre Kinahan - one of Ireland’s most acclaimed playwrights (Tempesta, Moment, The Saviour) and Steve Wickham - Ireland’s premier rock fiddler since the 1980s (U2, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, and more). Together, they create theatre that sings.

Songs and Souls
is an evening of Kinahan’s fierce, funny, and fragile characters coming to life. Accompanied by Wickham’s soaring melodies on fiddle and guitar, this unique collaboration blends theatre, music, and memory while inviting audiences into a world of ghosts, riddles, and rhythms of the heart.

Commissioned and supported by Meath Arts Office.
