A Public Conversation on Care in Contemporary Art

← back to all events
  • Visual Art

Featuring Danish artist Liesel Burisch, this roundtable brings together artists and curators to discuss the ethics and representation of care in contemporary art.

This event is presented in the context of the Glucksman’s exhibition Labour of Love: Economies of care in contemporary art, which considers how the physical and emotional wellbeing of people is enabled in our society, and how the burden of unpaid and low paid work might be made visible through art, to focus attention on work and services that are often overlooked, undervalued and hidden from public view.

Further information at glucksman.org - the exhibition runs until 6 July 2025.
