The Young Critics are coming to Cork!

One of Youth Theatre Ireland’s most popular and innovative programmes, the Young Critics recruits 16 young people from youth theatres across the country. Guided on their journey of critical discovery by expert facilitators, they learn about how and why theatre is made, see incredible shows and voice their opinions on theatre. Over the course of the festival, the Young Critics will watch a selection of productions and will present their critical responses at this special panel event.

Chaired by Dr. Karen Fricker, The Young Critics Panel is always lively and informative as the young people share their views and opinions with good humour, passion, and eloquence.

Supported by The Arts Council, and the Department for Children.
