Tales Of Two Cities - artist development programme call out

Applications are now opeen for Tales of Two Cities – a fully funded international exchange program connecting Washington, DC and Cork, Ireland.

This incredible opportunity is designed for early-career theatre artists ready to expand their creative practice through:

  • International travel for DMV artists to Cork in June 2026 & for Cork artists to DC in autumn
  • Access to performances at Cork Midsummer Festival and The Everyman
  • Mentorship with Irish theatre artists
  • Workshops + development sessions in DC
  • A growing global network of collaborators

Participants will spend a week in Cork attending performances, meeting artists, and building connections — then continue the experience through the summer with mentorship and creative development in DC.

Flights, accommodations, and artist fees are ALL covered, thanks to the Arts Council's International Residency Initiatives Scheme.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this transatlantic exchange!
