A quiet, powerful one-on-one performance that celebrates the beauty of human connection and the intimacy of shared presence.

On an otherwise empty stage, one dancer and one audience member meet for a singular ten-minute encounter—shaped by a tender exchange of words, movement, and mutual attention. No performance is ever the same. No one else will witness it. It is a fleeting, unrepeatable gift.

Inspired by the reflective ritual of the Jewish seder, Lien reimagines performance as a deeply personal, almost spiritual act—an antidote to isolation, and a quiet reminder of the empathy that holds us together.

A unique encounter of grace and humility and a heart-touchingly unforgettable experience of movement and connection - Lien is an extraordinary performance that will leave a lasting impact on all who experience it.

Lien
is one of two productions by Lewis Major in this year’s programme, with Triptych also presented during this year’s festival.
