26 April 2021

Welcome to Cork Midsummer Festival 2021!

We’re so proud to present a programme of exciting and unmissable digital events and in-person experiences as part of this special edition of the Festival. Whether online or on your doorstep, we can’t wait to meet you in June!

The programme features 40 world and Irish premieres and presentations of new work; created and presented by over 160 artists. CMF is developed in partnership with the city’s arts organisations who commission and produce new work for the Festival.

There are five strands to the 2021 programme. Please note that City Stage tickets will be available to book from 24 May, subject to government guidelines:

CMF Online - Live stream and on-demand premieres and interactive events

City Gallery – New visual arts projects and installations, presented across the city

City Rising – A showcase of new work from emerging Cork artists

City Stage - On Your Doorstep - Multidisciplinary performances, delivered to your door

City Stage - From the Port to the Fort – Outdoor events taking place from the Port of Cork to Elizabeth Fort

Cork Midsummer Festival wouldn’t be possible without the support of its funders, partners, friends, patrons and sponsors, including core funders The Arts Council and Cork City Council. A full list of supporters can be found HERE.
