Got an idea for a play no longer than 5 minutes?

Landmark Productions and Octopus Theatricals in association with Cork Midsummer Festival and Cork Opera House invite submissions for emerging playwrights, seeking short plays to be produced as part of Theatre for One: This Ireland at Cork Midsummer Festival in June 2024.

Each of the selected playwrights will receive one-to-one mentorship from one of Ireland’s leading playwrights, whose Theatre for One plays were performed at Cork Midsummer Festival in 2019 - Marina Carr, Stacey Gregg, Emmet Kirwan, Louise Lowe, Mark O’Rowe and Enda Walsh

The 5-minutes plays will be produced in a specially-designed, state-of-the-art theatre booth for one actor and one audience member at a time as part of Cork Midsummer Festival next June.
