Les Girafes - all you need to know

Les Girafes - An Animal Operetta is almost here - and here are all the details you need to know!

This spectacular event is taking place at Cork Midsummer Festival with the support of Cork City Council as part of their Open Streets Initiative.

The giraffes and their companions will take to the streets at both 2pm and 9pm on Sunday 22 June to close Cork Midsummer Festival 2025.

In the map below you'll find the planned route for the event:

Some city centre streets will be closed to accommodate Les Girafes as well as our festival Night Market (also taking place on St. Patrick's Street) - to ease your journey into the city centre and back, why not avail of public transport with our festival sponsors Bus Éireann?
