Cast announced for Theatre for One: This Ireland
Sarah Agha, Kathy Rose O'Brien, Grace Collender, Peter Corboy, Kate Gilmore, Liath Hannon, Anna Healy, Demi Isaac Oviawe, Úna Kavanagh, Aoibhéann McCann, Aisling O'Sullivan and Joan Sheehy will perform 12 short 5-minute plays for one audience member at a time in a purpose-built booth on Emmet plaza, outside Cork Opera House as part of Cork Midsummer Festival from 15-23 June.
Produced by Landmark Productions and Octopus Theatricals LLC, in association with Cork Midsummer Festival and Cork Opera House, this promises to be a uniquely intimate experience.

The plays will be directed by Eoghan Carrick, Grace Morgan and Srđa Vasiljević.
The six original writers worked with an electric line-up of new writers whose short plays were selected from a nationwide public call-out. They each were paired with the original writers and received mentorship as they worked on their plays.
Theatre for One was conceived by the Tony and Olivier award-winning Artistic Director, Christine Jones, and designed by LOT-EK architects. Theatre for One: This Ireland is funded by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
