Contemporary dance performed on the street by two dancers, moving through the different but universal stages of life.
Using diverse elements from different styles of dance, physical theatre and performance, Uroboros is a playful and fun creation that contrasts with the intensity of movement – reflecting the human journey from birth, youth, adulthood and death. Developed by La Casa Oscura, Uroboros was showcased at Fira Tarrega in 2023.
La Casa Oscura is an emerging contemporary dance company directed by Sabino Barbieri and Núria Argilés, based between Catalonia and Italy. Using a unique dance language across various styles, they challenge themselves to create artistic works capable of empathizing with the spectator and adapting to different spaces.
Developed in coproduction with Artemis Danza.
Presented with the support of the Institut Ramon Llull.
