Cork-based artist Brían Crotty presents an immersive and cinematic installation of works in the mediums of film and painting. This project reflects on how painting and film move deftly between cinephile culture and contemporary art, the images and objects, still and moving must be aware of the presence of the other. The artworks explore the complexities of issues such as economic pressures and toxic masculinity.
Opening reception 20 June will be preceded at 5.30pm with performance by Lewis Kenny (Dublin-based performance poet, singer/songwriter, and founder of Inter-Varsity Slam).
