Little Druids For Humanity

When

12pm, 13 June

Ballincollig children have created handcrafted wizardry, cooked up ancient magic potions, performed neighbourhood enchantments, recorded and shared video stories in the weeks leading up to Cruinniú na nÓg - with more to come! All in order to transform the world into a better place, as Little Druids for Humanity. This magical virtual arts project and game for children and young people, their families and neighbourhood began from the children and young people’s very own bedroom, then their kitchens, finally venturing out locally.

Created by Chilean theatre makers Teatro Container in association with Cork Midsummer Festival and Cork artists Francesca Castellano and Linda Curtin, with support from Cork City Council and Creative Ireland.

Cruinniú na nÓg is an initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme at the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and is presented in partnership with RTÉ and the Local Authorities.
