Wild At Heart - artist residency event, all welcome!

Make beautiful floral button-holes or a posy for a friend, loved-one or yourself - as part of Autumnfest at Douglas Street, Sunday 29 September. Drop-by anytime from 2pm – 5pm; FREE activity - all welcome!

Use fresh flowers, herbs, silk blossoms and hedgerow materials to lift the spirits and join Cork Midsummer Festival’s artist-in-residence Marie Brett in chat about folklore and myth while drinking herbal tea and enjoying nature’s bounty.

No experience is needed.

This activity is part of “Cultural Lore” an artist residency for Cork Midsummer Festival focussing on how we access the arts as we age through a series of feel-good, shared knowledge activities that connect making, well-being and lore.
