South Parish residents: call out for old china, glasses and fabric!

Housed in a shipping container La Cocina Pública (The Public Kitchen) is a mobile kitchen that brings people together through theatre, food and dining. Taking place on outside on Sawmill Street in front of Coláiste Daibhéid/St John’s Central College for 5 public dining events from 17 June until 23 June. Teatro Container of Valparaíso, Chile invite the residents of the South Parish area to participate in La Cocina Pública.
There are a number of ways you can participate:
Donate china plates, bowls, tea cups and sauces, glasses and fabric for the workshops and dining events. Drop-off points: Nano Nagle Place, South Presentation Centre, Douglas Street and Cork Flower Studio, 104 Douglas Street. Deadline for drop-offs: Monday 10 June.
Also, join us in sharing recipes and stories, making bunting and decorations or cooking and hosting for the dining events from Friday 14 June onwards. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or pop into Cork Flower Studio, 104 Douglas Street, Cork to add your name to the sign-up sheet.
