Our family run restaurant was opened in mid-January 1987, offering quality Chinese Cuisine in elegant surroundings. It is one of the first Chinese restaurants to bring the oriental cuisine to a new level of distinction.

Tom Doorley was delighted with the welcome, the food and the service at Cork’s Ambassador….Anyway, at this stage it was getting dark and I, the one with the minuscule appetite, was getting pretty hungry. We strolled up the street and found ourselves outside Cork’s best Chinese restaurant (don’t get over excited now), the Ambassador.
