10am - 1pm, 2pm - 5pm
Venue announced on application
This workshop is a chance to work alongside UK theatre maker and playwright Tim Crouch as he encourages insights into ideas of creativity, form and reception. Crouch’s work questions what makes a performance, what makes a well-made play, what constitutes the physical space of theatre. It encourages the audience to understand its role as a co-author. It invites the performer to play less and the audience to play more.
The workshop will be a mixture of practical and theoretical exploration. It will encompass writing, performing and directing. It’s designed for people who have made their own work or are thinking about making their own work. It will be playful, thoughtful and empowering.
Places on this workshop are limited and will be allocated by application. To apply, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, including a short 100 word summary of your work to date.
