Crosstown Drift concludes with a multi-room extravaganza for the final event at the River Lee Hotel on Western Road. A fabulous finale of music, readings, rhyming, conversation and more. We have programmed over two hours of events with readings from Kevin Barry, Sarah Griffin, Sinead Gleeson, Sara Baume, Billy O’Callaghan,Rory Gleeson and Sally Rooney. Eoghan O’Sullivan (Irish Examiner) hosts a Q&A with literary magazine editors Eimear Ryan (Banshee), Marc O’Connell (Penny Dreadful) and Thomas Morris (contributing editor of Stinging Fly). There will be a showcase of new Cork writing featuring Rachel Andrews, Danny Denton, and Catherine Kirwan,  DJ supremo Stevie G will host Spitting Rhymes, a collection of MCs and beat-poets throwing rhymes, lines and kickin’ lyrical geometry. Oh, and then there’s the Swearathon hosted by Lisa McInerney, with Alan McMonagle, Rory Gleeson, Gerry Murphy and more.

Room 1 - The Lookout
8.30pm - 9.15pm: Let's talk about litmags
Irish Examiner arts critic Eoghan O'Sullivan chairs a panel discussion with litmag editors Thomas Morris (contributing editor of Stinging Fly), Eimear Ryan (Banshee) and Marc O'Connell (Penny Dreadful) about the rise of litmags, their importance to the literature scene in Ireland and abroad, how they can help a writer, tips on how to submit, and their future.

9.20pm -10.10pm 
Readings by award-winning writer Kevin Barry and debut novelists Sally Rooney (Conversations With ), Billy O Callaghan (The Dead House) and Rory Gleeson (Rockadoon shore).

10.10pm - close: The Swearathon.
Lisa McInerney, author of the Glorious Heresies and the Blood Miracles, presents lewd and rude readings that will turn the night air blue. Joining her reading and discussing and swearing and cursing will be Alan McMonagle (Ithaca), Gerry Murphy (poet) and a host of the writers from across the weekend.

Room 2 - The Hub
8.20pm- 9.00pm: New Cork Writers
Join up and coming Cork-based writers Danny Denton, Catherine Kirwan, and Rachel Andrews as they read from their work.

9.10pm - 10.00pm
Sinead Gleeson, Sara Baume and Sarah Griffin work in myriad forms, including radio, podcasts, fiction, essays, reviews and poetry. Join them for readings and a discussion on their work, technique and formats

10.10pm - Close: Spitting Rhymes
