Following the success of the sold out 2017 series, Luke Murphy returns with the 2018 edition of Ireland's only professional workshop festival.
Catch8 invites an intimate group of professionals to Cork for eight days of training, creativity and sharing, opening new opportunities in training and development for the Irish dance community and introducing international dancers to a host of Irish work. Workshops will run in two sessions daily from 9:30am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 4:30pm. All registered students will receive special offers and discounts on performances and events throughout Cork Midsummer Festival.
Faculty for the 2018 edition includes Maxine Doyle, Ian Garside, Tamara Gvozdenovic, Elie Tass, Luke Murphy, James Finnemore, Pavel Zustiak, Liz Roche, Jacquelyn Elder and Oona Doherty.
The Catch8 Workshop series is an initiative by Attic Projects in collaboration with Cork Midsummer Festival, Cork City Council Arts Office and DanceIreland. The Catch8 Workshop Series will run from June 16th - 23th with two workshops by Irish and International choreographers and performers daily. Each workshop will have a strictly limited capacity of 25 participants.
