Everyone’s Wild About The Wilders.
Renowned as the “hillbilly hurricane” from Kansas City, The Wilders, in full unstoppable flight, are rapidly becoming one of the most talked about bands on the roots music circuit. Fave raves of Belfast’s Open House Festival in January last year, they took Glasgow’s Celtic Connections Festival by storm, and their sold-out show was filmed for the BBC 2 Highlights programme.
Playing “white-hot” roots-of-country and old-time, they deliver a blistering fiddle/banjo/guitar/dobro/slap bass hoedown, playing music that’s hugely infectious and good-time. The band’s fifth CD – produced by the legendary Dirk Powell - was voted Best Alt-Country Album in the American Independent Music Awards.
