International Professionals Showcase

This year we’re supporting some of our best Cork theatre-makers to premiere new shows at the Midsummer. We’ve called these shows Cork International because we have invited festival programmers from all over the world, with the assistance of Culture Ireland, to see some of the most imaginative theatre being made in Cork today. The shows include: medEia, Hollander, Red Lola, The People’s Republic of Gerry Murphy and Mimic. The showcase runs from Monday 22nd – Saturday 27th June and will include great networking opportunities, lively debates and a professionals’ market place. A manifesto will be launched as part of this showcase entitled A National Theatre of Cork? If you are an arts professional and would like to attend the Cork International Showcase please contact Jane Twomey, jane@corkmidsummer.com, for details of the schedule and the opportunity to purchase an industry pass that gives you access to 11 different shows for just €120. We can also offer arts professionals great hotel deals for the week. Hope to see you there!
