A late night midsummer treat for all the family, Wired &
Free is a multi–media aerial spectacle that takes place at the
end of a crane high above the heads of the audience.
Created by the fantastic Fidget Feet, its story of a fisherman
and a mermaid, who meet in the middle of the
ocean. The fisherman comes rowing his boat across the
night sky when he meets the beautiful mermaid. But is
she his friend? Or has the fisherman been lured to a
watery end?
The show takes place in the grounds of the R & H Hall
plant in the city centre docklands, using the landscape
of Cork as its backdrop. Part circus, part theatre, part
giant video animation, you will never look at the
docklands in the same way again!
“...wonder filled elegance…” Jeremy Kingston, The Times
“...watch out for the spellbinding aerial artist Chantal
Daly [of Fidget Feet].”
Ron Livingston, Evening Gazette – Newcastle
“This piece had the children and adults in the sizable
crowd transfixed neck straining skywards. A beautiful
choreographed piece graceful and awesome,
Ballyshannon has never seen anything like it.”
Colin Regan, Donegal News
You can also catch Fidget Feet in the Spiegeltent on Tue 19th & Wed
20th June in their new aerial circus show.
Thanks to R+ H Hall for use of their premises.
