The Shellac Sisters are four glamorous retrochics who dress in all things vintage and play 78rpm records on original 1920s wind-up gramophones. Tea, Cakes & 78s is Cork’s first retro club afternoon. Suitable for oldsters, youngsters and all the family.

These demure and delectable DJs have a vast collection of 78s covering all styles of music from the 1920s -1950s… Big band swing by Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and The Andrews Sisters, classics like ‘Tea for Two’ and ‘The Lambeth Walk’, novelties by cheeky music hall acts and much, much more.

Join them for a spin around the dance floor or just relax and enjoy the sound and spectacle. Suitable for all ages. Bring your own 78s to hear them played. Tea supplied by Barry’s Tea.
