Julie Feeney’s critically acclaimed, self-produced debut album ’13 Songs’ won the Choice Music Prize, Irish Album of the Year award in 2006. She composed, arranged, produced and sang all thirteen songs and played most of the instruments on the album herself before securing a major recording deal with Sony BMG. The music is beautiful, complex, uplifting and haunting.

Since then she has performed live in Ireland, the UK and Holland to great critical acclaim and in May this year performed a 30 minute song cycle with the Ulster Orchestra at The Waterfront Hall in Belfast.

Often compared to such artists as Bjork and Laurie Anderson, Julie and band play live in the Spiegeltent. Don’t miss this great song-writing talent as she comes to Cork.
