The Colmore Consort gave its inaugural concert in February 2004. Since then, it has become increasingly renowned for its critically acclaimed performances of contemporary English choral music.

Performing in Ireland for the first time, the group sings repertoire spanning over four centuries of English choral music from Gibbons to Finzi with organ music performed by Christopher Allsop, the Assistant Organist of Worcester Cathedral.

The choir’s first CD, Moments of Vision, which contains eleven world première recordings, was released in May 2006 and features the choral works of Jonathan Dove and David Matthews.
