A panoramic spectacular of music and peril!!

The spectacular Spring Onion Puppet Theatre returns to the Cork Midsummer Festival after their sell out show ‘Moving House’ in 2006.

Androcles, an African boy, goes to the aid of an injured Lion, only for both to be captured by the evil Slyrenious, animal catcher and circus master to the Roman Emperor. Boy and beast are lured to Rome to be star attractions at the Emperor’s “little party”. What fate awaits poor Androcles at the Coliseum? Is he to be the lion’s lunch?

Expect goodies, badies… and idiots. Expect booing, hissing and audience participation! For everyone over 5.
