Danny McCarthy and Viv Corringham collected the unique actual ambient
sounds of, and 100 responses from people living in Cobh.
For this performance a number of “Sound Carriers” will take this
collection of sounds in their hands and on their backs and carry them
through the streets of Cobh bringing them back from where they came.
Their walks will be choreographed in such a way that sounds will mix
and mingle with each other and with the sounds of the streets to form
new soundscapes.
The town of Cobh will whisper with voices in this ambulatory performance as this living installation takes to the streets. Just follow the sounds and listen...
