Púca Puppets in association with Éigse presents:
Coraline
Adapted from Neil Gaiman’s novella.

Coraline
Coraline loves exploring, so when she finds a secret door in her new house, she has to see what lies behind it. She discovers a parallel world, uncannily like her own – but also quite different. She meets a smart-talking cat, performing rats, and counterfeit parents with buttons for eyes and evil on their minds. What follows is nothing less than a battle for Coraline’s soul.
Suitable for older children and adults, this is a contemporary puppet show by award winning Púca Puppets. A fairy-tale for the 21st century – it appeals without patronizing, thrills without terrifying, challenges and delights.
About best-selling author Neil Gaiman’s Coraline:
“Alice with attitude in a dark, creepy Wonderland. A gripping and moving tale which restores child readers to a safe normality.” - Times Educational Supplement.
“A marvellously strange and scary book.” - Philip Pullman, author of His Dark Materials.
About Púca Puppets:
“The puppetteers are unobtrusively perfect in every physical and vocal nuance” - The Irish Times.
