The Ark, a cultural centre for Children, and the Cork Midsummer Festival present:

Blown Away
Blown Away

This Spring, pre-school children from Togher Family Centre and Wallaroo worked with Scottish artists Ian Kettles and Susie Hunter to imagine and design their own giant bouncy sculpture.

Their fantasy design has been constructed by Kettles and Hunter and will feature as a centre-piece of Picnic in the Park on Sunday 25th June. From Monday 26th it will be available in Shandon, near the Firkin Crane, for children of all ages to play on during the festival.

The Firkin Crane is the central venue for our family and young people’s programme and we are delighted to team up with the Ark again to make every visit to Shandon even more special.

Locations:
The Lord Mayor’s Picnic in the Park, Fitzgerald’s Park on Sun June 25th 2pm - 5pm.
Garden of St Anne’s Church, Shandon from Mon 26th June to Sat 1st July @ 1pm - 6pm.
