Welcome to the 9th Cork Midsummer Festival.

Corcadorca Theatre Company in association with Cork:2005 present:

The Merchant of Venice

Discover a city within our city as Ireland’s premier site-specific theatre company brings to life ‘The Merchant of Venice'.

Corcadorca, who brought Cork ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ in Fitzgerald Park and Fota Gardens, and ‘The Trial of Jesus’ on Patrick’s Hill are now preparing the biggest and most ambitious Shakespeare show ever produced in the South. Created with the support of Cork Midsummer Festival, join Corcadorca’s troupe of musicians as they chart the action, drama and mayhem from the quays of Cork to the bloodthirsty Courthouse and onwards as Shakespeare makes Cork his home this Summer.

Previews 14th, 15th June 2005 @ 9.30pm
