Once Beneath The Skin is a duet choreographed by Michael Klien to Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Klien’s examination of the semantics of Bach’s composition will be reflected in the synergy of the dancers’ performance. While on stage a live pianist will perform Bach’s concert piece, the presence of the pianist a classical contrast to the
interpretations of the dancers. A relaxed and approachable performance, Once Beneath The Skin is an excellent showcase displaying the craftsmanship of the choreographer, the dancers and the musician.
