Relocation Weekend
A series of 4 seminars \ workshops facilitated by Corcadorca
Grid Iron (Scotland), Jo Bithume (France), Teatr Biuro Podrózy (Poland) and Corcadorca (Ireland)
Corcadorca’s Relocation project, a collaboration between Corcadorca, Grid Iron, Jo Bithume and Teatr Biuro Podrózy, will culminate in the staging of four very exciting and spectacular productions on unusual sites in and around Cork’s city centre as part of the European Capital of Culture programme in 2005. These companies are undoubtedly among the very best that Europe has to offer in theatre performance.
As a precursor to this, during the Cork Midsummer Festival 2004, each of the Relocation companies will conduct a workshop or seminar for actors and theatre practitioners. Numbers will be limited and pre-booking essential.

Le point fort du projet Relocation de Corcadorca, en collaboration avec Grid Iron, Jo Bithume et Teatr Biuro Podrózy, aboutira à la mise en scène de quatre productions spectaculaires et provocantes sur des sites inhabituels de Cork et dans ses environs. Celles-ci feront partie du programme Capitale Européenne de la Culture 2005. Ces compagnies font sans doute partie des meilleures que l’Europe a à offrir dans le domaine de l’interprétation théâtrale.
Comme pour donner un avant-goût du programme Capitale Européenne de la Culture 2005, chacune des compagnies Relocation proposera, pendant le Midsummer Festival de Cork 2004, un atelier ou un séminaire pour les acteurs et les gens du théâtre. Les places seront limitées et les réservations nécessaires.
